Succulent Care Kit is really a business cover to help justify our succulent obsession-but Shhhhhh. Please don’t tell anyone. We – Lauri and Sarah – met through our kids’ kindergarten class almost 20 years ago. Over the past few years, as our kids have begun to fledge our respective nests, we have been gleefully replacing bake sales and backpacks with garden gloves and colorpacks; field trips and PTA meetings, with garden tours and vintage markets. (Oh wait. Are we supposed to be sad the kids are leaving??) Our gardening exploits soon led us to the ever-alluring succulent world. And hence our obsession, and ultimately The Succulent Care Kit was born.
While these plants we adore are relatively undemanding, they are not completely care free. They need a bit of timely love here and there. This kit was the outgrowth of wanting to have a set of garden tools, specifically tailored for taking care of succulents, in one convenient place. We figured, we collected all these plants, we better keep them alive! Finding just the right tools for our kit was a great experience. Wanting our kits to be festive and colorful, while still useful, we have added some custom flourishes, we think our fellow plant lovers will appreciate: Custom fabric buttons, beautiful, hand-made ties, and bright-colored trim along the pocket edges. Included are all the specialty tools you will need to tend to your succulents, whether they are in containers or in the ground. We think we have struck a good balance of cheery and functional. Our hope is you will find our kits as fun to use as they are to look at. Plus, because these tools don’t “blend”, there is the added benefit that roommates, other-halves, and kids, can’t abscond with them un-noticed.

Specifications: For all black, Succulent Care Kit aprons, the main portion of the apron, that is, the section with the pockets is 11″ x 22″. The black ties are an additional 23″ on each side, Thus the total length of the apron is 68″. For aprons with the additional fabric ribbons, to tie the kit together, those ribbons are a total of 40″ in length.
